During the economic crisis around 2010, construction activity came to a standstill. To earn money, the boards of the scaffolding were used to make garden furniture. This is where the term scaffolding timber comes from. It is therefore a misconception that scaffold timber is a separate type of wood. Scaffolding timber is pine wood, which is most commonly used in construction. Since 2010, we have been the first company to produce scaffold wood furniture on a large scale. This has the advantage that we can buy our wood directly from the large sawmills in Europe. We only produce furniture from A-quality wood that is fully FSC PEFC certified.

In recent years, we have strived to produce in a completely sustainable and energy-neutral way. For every tree that is felled, 2 trees are planted in return. In addition, the electricity in our workshop is generated entirely by solar energy.
